The InnovaSystems' MDI Actuation Station automates the agitation and actuation of a single MDI canister with patient actuator. The user can now provide a consistent, repeatable agitation and actuation force and speed for many MDI product tests.
The MDI Actuation Station:
The MDI Actuation Station includes a built-in priming collector, eliminating the need to operate in a fume hood. The simple to use user interface, coupled with the portable bench top design of the MDI Actuation Station eliminates analyst induced actuation variances while reducing the potential for repetitive motion related injuries. The MDI Actuation Station allows the user to control the rate at which force is applied to the canister and the rate at which force is removed from the canister during actuation. This is in addition to user control of the agitation angle and speed. The MDI Actuation Station can be adapted for use with an Anderson Cascade Impactor, Malvern Mastersizer, and the Theil Collection Tube or other collection device.
